Academic Year in America (for Japanese students) |
|
This project was established by the U.S. Government in 1948 as "Criteria for Teenager Exchange Visitor Program". Exchange student will attend a local public high school in America for one academic year staying with an American host family. Through associating with friends at schoolCteachers, host families and local American communities , students will learn to foster a broader view of the world. |

(This AYA program is offerd by the Intercultural Youth Exchange Organization
(NPO). As an Okinawa-Shikoku Advisory Assistance Desk, we support the AYA

|
We dispatch both qualified native English speakers and Japanese English
teachers to the schools. This implements various spoken English promotion
programs more effectively. Keeping qualified teachers constantly on post
reduces the operational costs, and eliminates a lot of laborious paper
work relating to the employment of foreign teachers in Japan. |
